大温面试技巧攻略

作为一名大学毕业生,掌握全面的面试技巧是求职过程中关键的一步。一般情况下,如果您收到了面试通知,意味着公司的HR部门对您的简历表示认可,您的能力和经验也符合公司的基本要求。接下来需要做的,就是为即将到来的面试做充足的准备,在面试中给HR留下良好的印象,从众多候选人中脱颖而出。请注意,面试官虽然会审核您的的知识和能力,但是他们更看重的是您的态度、个性和职业素养是否符合您所申请的工作。以下的内容将帮助您顺利通过面试,取得自己理想的工作。


面试前

首先,面试人要对公司和职位要有充分了解。通过网络调查公司的企业文化、主要业务、员工人数、部门划分、经营业绩和发展前景等,这将帮助您在HR面前展现您对公司的兴趣和对该职位的重视。您也可以通过朋友询问面试的内容和方式,让自己更从容对面试问题。面试当天一定要守时,迟到会让您在HR面前的形象大打折扣。提前15分钟抵达面试地点,用前10分钟来熟悉场地,稳定心态,用最后5分钟检查自己的求职材料,包括个人证件、简历复印件、推荐信、笔记本和笔等,然后耐心等待入场。和面试官初次见面,要直视对方,保持微笑并礼貌问候。等待对方朝您伸出手,再用单手握手;不能用力过猛,也不能使劲摇晃,同时保持手掌的干燥和温暖。

面试中&面试后

对于正规面试而言,准备一份完整的问题清单对是必要的,因为它将大大降低您对面试的紧张和焦虑,从而提升自自信。根据自己的实际情况,用1-2周来准备问答,并将其逐步改进、熟记于心、反复操练,确保有能力将回答简单明了的表达给面试官。一般而言,面试时间大约在20-30分钟之间,因此要通过自己对公司的了解,将每个问题的重要性排序,并预计每个回答花费的时间。

最常见的问题: 1. Tell me about yourself ? 2. Why do you choose our company? 3. What are your strengths & weaknesses? 4. Why should we hire you for this position?  5. Where do you see yourself in five years?

除此之外,北美雇主经常会采用行为式问题 (Behavioral Questions) 来评估面试者的沟通能力、适应能力和管理能力等。常见问题如下: 1. Describe a stressful situation and how you overcame it. 2. Describe your most recent team effort, be specific. 3. Give me an example of when you were able to motivate your co-workers. 

此类问题实际具体,需要结合自身的工作经验,并采用STAR法则来回答。如果没有工作经验,就用实习、学习或义工经验来替代。

⦁ STAR法则=情景 (Situation) +任务 (Task) +行动 (Action) +结果 (Result)

请注意,在陈述行动和结果时,尽量将它们用数字和百分比表达,用成功的案例来体现自身的优势,从而体现其说服力。根据自己申请职位的不同,面试官对问题的要求自然也不同。列如:如果您申请了零售行业的工作,那就应该将重点放在沟通能力和营销的案例上;如果您申请了行政助理工作,就应该将重点放在协调能力和规划能力上;如果申请了经理级别的工作,就应该将重点放在决策能力和管理能力上。这么做可以突出自己和工作的相关性。

通过以下短语,您将更快理解该法则中行动和结果的部分,并联系到自身经历:

⦁ X conducted a research to reduce Y% of turnover rate .... ⦁ X implemented a project to increase Y% productivity .... ⦁ X developed a policy to recruit Y qualified employees... ⦁ X designed a marketing strategy to increase 10% revenue....

STAR问答的具体内容可以参考以下的例子:Question: Give a example of a goal you set and how you achieve it

Situation: My role as project manager was to ensure that projects are completed on time and on budget.

Task: My last role involved combining three office spaces into one. With a tight deadline of 90 days and dealing with multiple contractors from different companies, I knew it was going to be a struggle to complete the job in time. I set the goal of having everything completed within 80 days to give us 10 days at the end to make final corrections.

Action: By dividing all the different contractors into three main teams and having three project managers controlling the three teams, I was able to create a more efficient and effective work timetable and ensure that downtime was kept to a minimum. Result: As a result of this more efficient working time we completed the job on time and reduced costs by 15%. This new way of dividing contractors into smaller teams has now been implemented into standard work procedure and seen a reduction in overall costs. 在面试即将结束前,对面试官提问也是一个不能忽略的环节。作为最后一项考察,面试官将检验您是否对面试准备充分,是否对公司态度真诚,是否对细节足够严谨。然而,注意不能直接询问面试的结果,不能问与工作无关的问题。除非面试官主动提起,也不要轻易提工资、待遇、福利、加班、出差等敏感问题。

对面试官的提问: ⦁ What is a typical career path for this position?  ⦁ What is the most interesting part (or most challenging part ) of this job? ⦁ What training resources will be available to help me learn more about this positon?  ⦁ Can you tell me more about the day-to-day responsibilities of this job?  ⦁ Could you describe the work environment in the company? 

在面试结束后的2-3天内,通过电子邮件写一封感谢信,再一次展示出自己诚恳的态度,也进一步增加自己的录取机会。信的开头应提及您的姓名,简单情况和面试时间,并对面试官表达感谢。两周后,便可以写信或致电给公司,询问面试结果。
